I'm sorry but why in the world would you ever carry around a phone EVERYWHERE daily, that has pictures and video of your grow show? Better yet pictures and video of your grow show, at your own home! I feel like an idiot half the time for putting pictures on this site, but man I could never carry around my pot portfolio on my phone everywhere I went.

I put some pics on my ipod of some plants.

Forgot it at a friends house one night. When I saw him he asked where the pictures came from. Told him Just some I downloaded from the internet. Luckily no other questions were asked. Last time I did something like that.

I dont like putting them on here either, but I dont have a commercial setup so dont really care. I even have a huge memory card that is used purely for cannabis pics. If I ever take my camera away from home I just change the memory cards.

thats the last time I take pictures out of the house. I'm not to worried about it, everything is clean here and I haven't heard anything yet.. I'm young and dumb, this was only my 5th grow.. I have 2 other setups in different locations and I'm glad to have to stop growing at my house, with nothing here I feel a lot less paranoid. Its hard to say if they will say anything, if they do they still will get charged with robberey and if they stole all the shit what will the cops find? Would a DA even give a warrant to search off the word of three out of town kids with 10lbs and 3k worth of equipment? Hard to say, either way I think I'm covered.
Hopefully EVERYONE will learn from my stupidity.. I put this up to show what stupid tiny mistake could completely burry you not for people to tell me how dumb it was.. I've picked that up all on my own.

Yep good reminder. Hell, they could have not even broken in with knowing of the pot; they could have broke in just because, looking for anything they could get. Then......Jackpot (to them).

Yeah, you made a mistake in taking those pics on your phone. We all do stupid shit from time to time. It's called being human. But the crime committed against you isn't your fault. We SHOULD be able to take pics, leave our doors unlocked, walk through any part of town safely at night, etc. Unfortunately that isn't the reality we live in. The good part is not only do you have an intelligent brain that won't let you make that same mistake again, you get to share your experience and prevent some of the rest of us from recreating your mistake. So, thanks for having the stones to share with us.

You've got some very sound advice here from cool heads. I can't add to it. Just wanted to lend some moral support and say I'm sorry for the hard lesson. People suck. I think thieves should be hanged like in the old times of the West. They're up there on my list of criminals to whom capitol punishment should be the standard course of action.

One thing I do want to add though is concerned with the hydro store. Someone mentioned the possibility of being observed at one. I have often wondered about this as well. Now admittedly, I am a wee bit paranoid too. I dropped off these forums some time back due to an event that scared the crap out of me. I'll share that one another time though. Back to the hydro store. When I go shopping at my local hydro hq, I make it my first stop. I run other errands afterward and make sure no one is following me. If there's a car behind me and it's been there awhile, I make detours before heading home. Why am I so careful/paranoid, especially since I have a med rec and stay within guidelines? Because people in my county have been beaten nearly to death in their homes and all their stash, grow and money stolen. I think until cannabis is MORE legal, one cannot be too careful. I'm not nearly as afraid of LEO (I'm in Cali) as much as I am pirates that are more than willing to do me great bodily harm to get a little bit of stuff and equipment.

I'm getting 2 pupps from the Viper X Widow liter.. should be getting a male and female sometime in May '10.
I'm not trying to advertise for this kennel or anything, but I definately reccomend using it if your interested in the Best and largest protection breed in the world.. Also the staff is all family and are just a pleasure to work with.
