![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | So to make a long story longer this is why I haven't been around (not that I'm a key member of this site) I just wanted to let the few who were following my journal why I haven't been on the boards. I recently had an indoor harvest and wanted to upgrade my equipment to the latest aircooled tube shades and the new quantum 1k 120/240 dual ballast. So I venture 1hr to my not so local grow store for a shopping spree! and what fun it was. I got 2 new ultragrow 6"X24" aircooled grow tubes, 2 hortilux 1k bulbs, and the 1k ballasts. I also have the store order me the new HydroGen and a GreenAir Co2 monitor and controller. So all in all it was a great day.. Until I get home and notice I left my iphone somewhere throughout the day, I call the store and nothing.. Then I remember the last time I used it was in the car just before leaving the parking lot, then I came straight home no stops, or wait.... I did make one stop, at this little chinese store in a shady section of the city to get some of my favorite blunt wraps.. I should have just jumped on the highway straigh out of the hydro shop. STUPID, really fucking stupid.. My iphone had 1 video on it of pretty much everything I had at my house, from the cloning machine to the flower room, then right outside to 20 plant or so garden in my back yard.. 3 Days later I get home from a friends sons bday party and find my house trashed everything gone from my back yard, all the old and new lights and ballasts, dehumid, couple wall mount fans co2 tank tap and timer, cloning machine ( all clones and water dumped on floor) everything devastated... I began to vomit and I'm starting to feel that way again I think I'm gonna take a brake from thinking about this, Ill share more later

... to Security. That is a rough break man But think of the alternative ... it is better than the police being there when you got home ![]() It is for reasons like this that I never take grow pictures with my cell phone ![]() Not to stir up old feelings ... but are you sure it is the lost phone that resulted in your robbery? How many others knew about your garden(s) and brand new supplies? Maven

That's a painful lesson and it took some courage to talk about your misfortune out in the open. Being ripped is like being scammed -- it is embarrassing as much as it is costly. But like someone else here said, it could have been much worse. Whoever did this is in a bad place in life. Hopefully some of your herb finds its way into their hearts and they grow up. Or, maybe, they burn in a special place in hell for all eternity. Either way, you cannot change what has happened, but you can better protect yourself next time. So sorry man.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | TheOriginal I'm so sorry to hear of your loss! I can understand being sick, but thank heavens it wasn't the police waiting for you. It's kinda like tripps - damn your own property! I don't know if I'd ever feel safe growing at home if I got ripped.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yes, sorry to hear about all of this I would do the smart thing and not grow in that location again. In fact, If you are renting and do not own, I would move. If you own and are not renting I would sell the house if you could You can never be safe of mind there again

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | From your story, you implied you left your I-phone at the sketchy Chinese store and someone from that establishment found your I-phone possibly left on the counter. It could have been another customer at the shady chinese store or possibly someone who works at the store. This story reminds me of that marijuana smuggler on the program marijuana inc. who left his ledger at a Denneys restaurant and got tripped up on his whole operation. He was making millions and a single innocent mistake of leaving a notebook behind was his entire undoing. My first reaction was to go back and torch that Chinese store or at least destroy some of the owners property in a few years when the dots cant be connected back to you. Then it occured to me a customer like yourself comeing into the store could have found your I-phone and the blame would not rest on the store or the people who were working there at the time. It's tough when you cant narrow down who the perps are. Pesci's advise is the most fitting unfortunatly. I would go back into that Chinese store when the same employee who sold you the blunt wraps is working and make strong eye contact and inquire if they have seen your I-phone. If you see a bead of sweat or furtive darting eyes while this guy tells you he hasnt seen anything, then you might be rewarded with whether the store had any complicity in the crime or whether it was another shopper such as yourself. This way you will not be harboring resentment against the store should the employee you question show no signs of squirming when answering your questions about the missing phone. Dont call the place, it would only give them time to compose themselves. You need to make EYE contact with the person who sold you those wraps. Your intuition should tell you what to do after you have made this observation. I would then move like Pesci suggested and plan your next moves against any perps after that.
