Put a bed some old camera equipment and a few floodlight's set on the bed, any questions its a porn studio.  If they look a little too intrigued, its a gay porn studio.  | ||

| Running up the bill for other people and then lying about it is kind of an asshole thing to do. I know thats a bit harsh, but really, it is. It's also not a good idea to attract negative attention like that to yourself if you've already gone through the trouble of making the grow legal. At the very least you should talk to the people you're splitting with. Man up and pay your bill. | ||

| I agree that you should renegotiate a deal with the neighbors for you to pay more for what you use or they would not be impressed. But another option you could use as a disguise could be reptile breeding. Get some tanks and equiptment (heat lamps, heating pads and uvb bulbs). Just pretend you suck at breeding them like they all die or something  You could also use the heating pads for warming soil medium of clones and the uvb bulbs for thc production | ||

| industrial space next to two leased shops? unless you plan on sleeping there I wouldn't do it, and the power usage is my last concern. 1000 kwh is next to nothing, Especially for an industrial space... theres tons of excuses for electricity. regardless if i was growing in one I wouldn't want to put myself in a situation where I had to explain anything about the power bill. But it could be sketchy to begin with. if your sharing power you might be also sharing the HVAC system with your neighbors, this could be a huge smell problem. Do they have customers coming in and out of their business? Someone could catch a wiff... med card or not regardless, your neighbors might not be happy about that... I'd find somewhere with a stand alone building with its own power meter and hvac system to do it in. For sound control as well. You ever been in a business next door to a hair salon? The entire place smells like perm solution because the building shares HVAC. Now I really don't know what your situation looks like, it could be fine but... maybe your better off in a closet or spare bathroom, or storage space at home? 1000 kwh is something like 2000 watts, all you need is about 40 square feet of space. I'd either do that or find a new industrial space to rent thats not shared.
