I see what you're saying,but a slightly misspelled name is just a way to say, "Smithe? No, I'm Smith. Must have got the wrong addy. Marijuana?whats that? What strain was it? oops, i mean stupid stoner company got the address wrong and pulled it outa the phone book."

P.O. boxes are also handy if you move- list the address on your ID, then move and no-one goes back and updates their address anyway. Just one more layer, and the delivery person isn't going to be scouting your house cos he/she recognizes the package.

having a p.o. box is not suspicious at all. if leo wants to find out who owns my p.o. box they will need a search warrant to get that information.
