How long?

I am not sure if we are allowed to talk about this but, how long does it normally take for a shipment to arrive if you order from one of those internet sites? like what's your average delivery time?

They are all different. Your talking seeds right?

Should have them within a week of getting your payment. 2 weeks at most.

Years ago a month was the average. It can be 4 buisness days today. lol Most popular sites are always within 7 buisness days though.

That's fast.

Don't all packages from across seas have to go through customs or something?

Yes, they will go through customs. There is a small risk that they may be discovered, but from most evidence, should that happen, you would receive a letter stating that they have been seized, and that's all. LEO won't come knocking on your door or anything.

The odds are still in your favor, as most people have no problem getting their seeds. It's probably more likely for them to get lost, mislabeled, or not processed at all than it is for customs to snag them. And, at least one of the major seedbanks offers a guaranteed shipping (for a very small fee that also gets you a souvenir) so that if you never receive them, they will ship again at no charge to you.

I dunno...In my experience, a week may be too optimistic. I would say 10 to 14 days, depending upon the company, season, etc. I wouldn't freak if it took longer than seven days. I realize the risks and cast my bread upon the waters. I know that both Doc Chronic and Attitude have come through on each and every occasion. And for this...I am grateful.

Also it depends on how you order. You could drop a MO in the mail Fri, where it will sit at one of the big ground hubs till probably tuesday, then go overseas. Who knows how long it takes then? depends on the country.

Or, if you do it with a CC online, it can take 4 days with express shipping (very expensive, IMO). Or say 7-10 Mail days. Saturday counts for 1/2 a mail day. They say they work on saturday, but it's mostly delivery, most things get sorted Mon-Fri.

I've gotten seeds packed into something else, and also just [admin note: do not post seed bank shipping methods.]. Both were about 7- 10 mail days.
