![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hey all, I am currently growing indoors and I was wanting to maybe put one or two plants out in the backyard for a little gardening variety. I am wondering however how many plants do you think I can put in the yard and not get noticed by the "eye in the sky". I know they use thermal imaging techniques to spot crops but I mean would one or two plants attract any attention? Barring neighbors, utility people, etc is having this few amount of plants noticiable at all? Peace LB

| There's always soem risk that a grower chooses to except when putting the plants on his/her own property. I feel that if you were to put only one plant it each spot, and only have a few, you could probably pull it off. They should be planted next to other vegetation for camouflage. You could also train the plants to grow along the ground to change their appearance. Peace, Observer | ||

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah, that is what I was thinking as well. Just really like 1 or 2 (no more) and do some pruning and blending as to not make it so noticiable. I just wasn't sure approx how many plants it actually took to register. My backyard is very secluded from all my neighbors and no utlity access is needed about that part of my yard so I feel confident about them not being stumbled upon. But the imaging devices they use scares the hell out of me since I don't know the specifications of the technology and how they apply it. Anybody know anything more on this subject??? Peace LB

| I have had just one plant that was three and a half feet(topped) tall spotted, while they missed a patch of 25 plants that were six feet tall only 1/8 of a mile away. If ya ask me, growing on your own property is extremely dangerous any way ya look at it.Good Luck! | ||

| yah im just woindering how powerfull that heat signature is, like if you spaced your plants out maby they woudnt catch them. i was thinking of growing like 500 feet off my property (i live on the side of a mountain with like no one around me) BUT if the cops found out of my lil growery they would oviously track it to me! even though i had a perfect spot i decided to grow far away from my house!! even though i live in the bush helicopters scan where i live cuz the mountain im on is a huge pot farm! its huge and tons of growers grow on it! any way best of luck to you all. | ||

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Exactly what I am trying to find out!! I'm in kinda the same situation a nice spot from the ground but the air is a different matter. And if they did find them it would be my house they were knocking at!! I seem to recall someone on this board who said their dad or friends dad was some kind of Ranger or something and that he had knowledge of how exact these devices can be. i was hoping that he woudl join this thread and shed some light on the subject. Peace LB
