| My grow chamber is actually a store room. I built a smaller Mylar hut and hung it all from the rafters. The store room has a pad-lock on it now. My problem lies in that there is a water heater in there for an apartment upstairs. The landlord is good about making apointments first, but if a repairman came to work on things we could be in a world of hurt. I was thinking of telling the landlord that we have a grow room running to grow indoor veggies. That way, if they do go in there, it won't be a big suprise why there's a light running and perhaps some fans. Thoughts? -Guyute | ||

| It might be easy to convince her that it was an experiment for one of the students at the university(there are 1000's) and then I could post a sign that says do not disturb. It's just an unfinished part of the basement that isn't being used. -Guyute | ||

![]() | How often does the landlord come by? Does the water heater need maintenance? If you can finish this gro, do it, but then you need another set up. As for telling the landlord- HELL NO. I had only one landlord find out what I was up to, and even though he was cool as ****, didn't call the cops, but he asked for a bunch of herb when it was done. Not a huge deal, but the **** got herb for doing nothing. And rent on top of that! | ||

![]() | Change of location would be safe. One thing I have noticed is people are either for it, or against it. There is no in between. That was a cool manager you had though. I have this woman who seems like a real 'go getter' now. We have had three managers in the last year. It makes me worry because you can never settle down and get used to one. I would not want to take a 50/50 chance that the manager is not against it. Good Luck! Skunkbud

![]() | if you were willing to spend quite a bit of money on ionizers, co2 canisters and electric valves, etc... then you could probably conceal the whole thing inside some old broke down appliance... like a dryer or washing machine.... just rip out all the components and use the metal extior as a shell.. taking care to make sure the metal doesnt heat up and no light leaks out... but it would probably be easier just to find another location.
