| I was a member of an army reserve unit in the midwest for 12 years. The unit had a job list for active duty in case you were out of work. The jobs were in Missouri and arkansas, involving bieng "farmed out" for use by federal and local law enforcement. The jobs were often to hide in a high ground listening post and monitor crops (it prevents cutting down natural "ditch weed" and looking foolish). The other assignments were purely alternative taxation. Missouri law says if a landlord lets crime occur on his property, it can be confiscated. It also gives a landlord vast rights to search and sieze. The police will claim all kinds of reasons not to bust a crack house when the landlord complains. So the landlords hire off duty cops, soldiers, and psychos to do armed raids on the properties. Mercenaries in the drug war. Its not a drug war, its a civil war. Hail to the ghost of bloody bill anderson, missouri's finest soldier of the 1860's. He knew how to stop this kind of crap. | ||

| sorry, I meant this to be a reply to another thread of the same name. To reduce flamage, here is de facts. I was a paramedic, not a cop or even a wannabe cop. I was a grower until an ugly divorce made me a criminal. I learned from my military experience and my time drinking and toking with cops (you get to know them in my line of work) that knowledge of the enemy is the best weapon a guerilla warrior has. He attacks a blind enemy he knows well. You as growers have this force on your side, as prohibitionary laws typically garner public support for the suspects. You can know all about cops and their methods, but they can know very little about you and yours. Yes, in response to an above post, I am sometimes bored. I had my license revoked 5 years ago during the above mentioned arrest under a missouri law that provides for suspension of ones license when charged with a drug or alcohol crime prior to due process. Even though found not guilty, my license was in suspense until I agreed to pay for a drug course, two years of drug testing at my expense, and filed an SR-22 insurance form (guaranteeing every insurance company forever to know about the deal). So, I sit here deep in the lush green ozarks and do not drive as a protest. Luckily, I can still vote. Do it too, or don't complain when you are stripped of property and thrown behind bars by a government put in place by 2% of the population. | ||

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well said. I too have delayed to the reinstatement of my license for moral reasons. Sun Tzu makes the same arguments about knowing your enemy so I for one say this thread has merit. In my time in the military I was a cop and a Med tech both so I think we can share our knowledge to the benifit of the growers. I'm still alive folks just out of pocket. Smiles. BD ![]() | ||
