I am planning on starting a plant in a coffe can out side, if the cops find it will they do a test for finger prints and such or wil they just take it? Thanks Toke It Up 420

I dont think they would go threw all that trouble.I think them would just take it,or maybe even watch the area to catch you while tending to the plants.but I dont think you have to worry about prints.If you that worried wear gloves like O.J did

If you read the other topics on this forum, you know that I am a cop involved in marijuana investigations.

In all the years that I have been doing this job, I have never been able to obtain fingerprints off of objects such as coffee cans. Especially if they are outside for any lenght of time. Smooth surfaces such as glass or aluminum cans will retain latent prints.

In all most all circumstances, one plant in a coffee can will not warrant much effort on the part of the local police unless you are a "target" they really want to get.

BudBoy, GW is sincere in his attempts to help the marijuana cause. Just because it is his job to investigate drug related crimes does not mean he thinks marijuana should be included among them. I, for one, am grateful to have his invaluable knowledge given so freely.

I'm a professional law enforcement officer who happens to find himself working in an area that society has declared illegal. Not everyone involved in the growing of pot is part of the kinder, gentler set. I've found dead bodies in gardens, I've taken reports of rip-offs, robberies and murders involving pot. Those are the people I relish chasing, and catching. If, in the meantime, I can help the small grower who is contemplating growing dope, or who gets caught, from suffering the full weight of the government then I feel I serving the real interest of society.

honestly..i think your full of it about finding dead bodies and all the jazz your talking.if anything your a washed up beat cop or something stroking your ego online.get off the fence bonehead..nothing worse than someone who cant make up their mind about whats right and wrong.if your a cop your a cop and you can keep your adfvice.besides you havent said anything that isnt commonsense or known anyway so as far as your invaluble advice goes .you can keep it.be a cop or be a criminal but dont be undecided.it makes you look stupid..and anyone who listens to you.no offence but i think you need to quit being a cop if your going to help others to commit crimes..and ya never know..if you are a cop maybe the feds will read ya and decide to get your badge...oh well so much for wishful thinking
