| How many kwh can an indoor apartment grower use without raising eyebrows at the electric company???????? Most economical apartments use gas for heating, gas for cooking, & gas for the hot water heater & have no washer/drier hook up. If it is winter or the location is cool year round, an air conditioner can not be an excuse for high electric consumption. If the apartment is all electric, the tenant can justify a high electric bill while never using the electricity for appliances or heating the apartment or water. But the only electric appliance all apartments have is a dishwasher & TV those alone don’t use enough electricity to justify the bigger electric bill 2-400 watt halide system or 1-1,000 watt halide system would make | ||

![]() | When reviewing power useage bills, most investigators look at the amount of useage for the same location in past years during the same time period, and the average use of other buildings in the same area. | ||
