i want to start growing but there is no where for me to grow! i live in a heavily populated area so the only place i can think of to grow is on my roof. the plants would get a lot of direct sunlight. is this a good idea?

umm.. NO! MAJOR security hazard, unless you live in the styx where the neighbors are far away and you never get helicopter flybys... BUT, it WILL grow on the roof, although it may be extremely hot depending on what your roof shingles are made out of... and a major ***** to maintain since youd have to get on your roof every time.. kind of fishy eh.
but, if you're trying to grow on the roof anyway, that means you probably live with parents who don't approve of it and you shouldnt be growing in their house anyway.. you can really screw them if YOU get caught.

there are a few areas around me that have a lot of trees and i dont think people go in there too often, do u think growing in there would be good? if not someone give a suggestion please!

I agree. If you live in a house it's not a good idea to grow on your roof. If you live in a high rise somewhere then your biggest concern would be fly bys and building maintainance.
