| I can conceive of a possible market for pollen from males with desirable traits. Mostly I'm interested in developing my own seed stock. But, I'm interested if anyone knows whether pollen falls under the controlled substance laws. Also, whether it could be detected by drug dogs, as it would be nearly impossible to detect any other way. | ||

![]() | Boo, "The term 'marihuana' means all part of the plant cannabis sativa L., whether growing or not; the seeds thereof; the resin exracted from any part of the plant; and every compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of such plant, its seeds or resin. Such term does not include the mature stalks, fiber produced from such stalks, oil or cake made from the seeds of such plant, any other compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of such mature stalks (except the resin extracted therefrom), fiber, oil, or cake, or the sterilized seed of such plant which is incapable of germination." Quoted from 21 United States Code, Section 802 (16). Pollen would fall under the 'controlled substance' part of this definition. It may be an interesting task to prove a substance was marijuana pollen. i don't think the big "G" has many marijuana pollen experts.
