![]() | I am VERY apprehensive about starting something down in the basement...but high prices and availability leave me no choice.....so....Any advice would be appreciated. I have a large room in the basement and want to do 5-10 plants at a time. Also on a limited budget. I have four 40w flows. Somehow I don't think 160w is gonna be enough light. Should I invest in some sodium or metal halide lights?

![]() | i dont think 5-10 plants will do very good under 160w of light. your best to invest in a hps or MH, MH lights are a little cheaper than hps but still grow great crops. Especially during the veg stage. for the amount of plants you are growing you would probably need at least a 400w. ![]() and i think this should be in the Lighting Section. ![]() Rocker~
