Ok ive seen infa-red pictures and they are incredabaly clear and each object has a distinctive bright neon color.It seems that plants could easily be spotted and mine are right near a cornfeild and 2 miles from a air base. Does any airbase related helicopters check corn feilds with infa-red to spot weed plants? How easily ca 1 6-8 foot plant be spotted? Thanks

ok, im sorta a newbie at this and i have planted some seed i got out of my last bag of weed, i put a few experimental seeds in the freezer to fool them into sprouting , and it kinda worked they had a lil' bit of a tail. so then i planted them. i have 1 stationary plant in a secluded area. and about 4 pots which are seeded, it been about a week and a half and im now finally getting sprouters, my friend warned me that the cops use some kind of radar and that the plant gives of heat and the radar picks it up, is this true, please respond asap, im so paranoid, im not using light or anything to grow ,just good old mother nature, im afraid that if its tru then my plant will be spotted/..?

It is not the plants giving off heat that the cops can detect. If you have a good lighting system, which you will need to grow indoors, the cops can detect the lighting system because lights put off a large amount of heat. I do believe the Supreme Court ruled that the police need to obtain a warrant before doing infra-red scans though, I wouldnt quote me on that though....

so..it;s the light's that put off heat, not the plants...? wow i kinda figured that but i wasnt to shure...
well i dont have any lights, but i do have a red neon light that plugs into the car lighter adapter and i got a black light, will any of those two lights work..? if i were to use it on the baby sprouters i have....lmk asap

one more thing ..do you know if it is a felony or not to grow, or maybe its a felony to have more than a certian number of plants..i would really like to know this...i live in FL....

the cops can definately see the plants with infrared because the plant creates it's own heat signatue because of the ozone type fiels it creates around it while breathing. apperently weed is a much hotter plant then most because it is not a plant it is a WEED.

I'm in Florida.
The way I read the FL law.... posession of over 20 grams is a felony, punishable by up to 5 years and a $5000 fine. Cultivation of any amount, or posession of up to 25 lbs. is a felony punishable by up to 5 years and a $5000 fine.
Given that 20 grams is way less than an ounce (.7 to be specific) I figure that if I'm in for an ounce, I may as well be in for cultivation of "up to 25 lbs."
Make double sure you are not within 1000 feet of a school in any direction.

yeah. i heard that the plant does give off its own heat as well,but im not shure if its true..i dont care. i am thru with gardening ,my best friend got busted today for it, and just think, he was giving me his equipment for free.??hmm wonder why. i guess he found out that he was in for it and tried ditching the equipmeant but oh well. ill just leave the gardening for the people who know what there doing...
i was so scared when his girlfriend called me and told the what happened..
