that was all great info. ill always be curious about security inodorrs. i think when im done reading the books i am now, "the indoor bible" jorge c. and the "guerilla growing book", im going to read an in depth book on security i wasnt going to but because of nobodys input my curiosity has gotten the best of me, (a book about laws and stuff like what you were just describing). thanks for the input. oh yah i was reading in the guerilla one and jorge said that his house got searched just on the word of a snitch. is this possible without any other evidence? if so, one could simply call on someone and their house be searched, no? i cant believe this. ithis is like communism in russia. thanks gentlemen, im always looking at this thread hoping to read peoples thoughts on the subject. | Im sure Jorge C. has some sort of record or the pigs at least checked him out first...since he is in HIgh Times all the time Im sure that would prolly give them probable cause or somethin like that. | ||

these people got the police called on them because of lound music. they were seen by the police doing drugs. the police got a warrent right after and searched thier house to find a very large amount of drugs. i realize these people arent very careful but it just goes to show you how easy they can get a warrent. ps. to anyone who might understand; why would they be abple to search after only seeing them doing drungs? was it becasue of the music or the drugs only. i was under the impression that they needed 2 reasons. | ||

| They didn't need a warrant after seeing them do illegal drugs...they had the right to enter the premises to affect an arrest... Question is, did they REALLY see them doing drugs, or just fib a little to get into the house (this is what I'm talking about how police work on occasion). So, I doubt they got a "warrant" per se, but just made the arrest on what they saw..

| good point flapjack. thanks for the insight. in the paper it says the police got a warrent after seeing them doing the drugs but they could have been lying about that too and made it up later. either case it doesnt matter. im still training myself to not believe anything i read in the paper.the media hides everything including when we kill thousands of innocent people in afghanistan with bombs. its like a handful of water that wont leak a drop. | ||

is a 400 watter even soemthing that would draw attention?...I am putting one in my house (a duplex) in a 9 x 6 closet that has a window (that will be completely covered) on the back of the house. It is on the first floor and there is another 2 people livin upstairs (we are all in college). No one wil know about it but me. Is the upstairs residency enough to cover me up. Obviously we have a lot of power between the 2 households. How much light is enough to make LEOs suspicious, even if they do look atme with an IR scanner for fun?

| How much light to make LEO suspicious is the $25,000 question....400W? don't sweat it. I'd be more worried about people coming in and out of a my college house than power consumption. Final answer is if no one knows about your *small* grow but you, you'll be just fine....big mouthed, drug dealers get pinched, not you..

That is the answer I was looking for. Im not worried about people walking in and out of my house because the grow is in a spot where no one would ever walk......I think I will be fine
