last i knew, cannabis plants were illegal. not brownies. u could always come up with something if dogs were to detect ur brownies. but they have no actual proof that ur brownies contain THC. they wont go as far as sending them in for lab testing.

they might take them away from u, but there is no way in hell they could possibly prosecute u. USA/Canadian border

i know this thread is getting old and i dont know if i will stillget a reply, but you everyone says dogs can detect masked smells. but if you looked at how i cook them, there is no pot in the brownies, just thc, i extract the thc out ofthe weed by frying the weed in veg oil. there is no actual bud in it. are the dogs trained to smell the actual plant or the smell of thc?

Absolutely 3Hounds. The dogs are trained to smell the budded plant AND the actual concentrated drug (THC) itself. They are amazing. A trained dog would absolutely react. Hash oil has a distinctive smell and all the brownies do is cover it up. (See above).

Still, anyone see that commercial for saran wrap (I think) "But a Bear can't eat what it doesn't smell." Some piece of meat is wrapped in plastic wrap and the bear ignores it. Just some food for thought.

p.s. It is the DRUG that is illegal, not the plants. You can possess Hemp in most if not all States, you just can't have hemp w/ THC. The Controlled Substances Act regulates THC, not the plants.

This brings on the dichotomy with the various State laws on seeds. A seed has no THC, how can it be regulated? Well, if it COULD be germinated, some States, and possibly the Feds, though I am not sure, would ban it. Thus viable seeds are NOT legal in most States. Be careful when ordering......

Actually, in most states you can possess hemp "products" but not "hemp" in its raw form. Federally, all parts of the marijuana plant is illegal to possess. Here in Cali, you can only possess the mature stalks of the marijuana plant!!?? But how do you get mature stalks without growing it or getting it from someone who grew it, both of which are felonies. Go figure.

Didnt anyone read this guys post. All the talk about dogs is correct but knowbody helped solve his problem which was to get his buds out of Canada and taken to the US. Everybody got miss directed into talking about how smart dogs are. This is an old post but has some insightfull observations that could be expanded upon. Methods are constantly being improved through the science of how to get THC from Canada down south. This was the essence of your request and even though this thread is dated and some might accuse me of necroposting inquireing minds want to know.
Considering the age and length of this thread it seems to past muster with posting guidelines or it would have been closed. Any other usefull input on this subject?

I agree Swordfish, an answer to safely transporting smoke would be invaluable.
have not got an answer except keeping it on my person so can ditch in troubled times lol, however heard this of a dealer who threw dogs off on a house search like this.
he made some oil and injected it into a post in his house. the dogs made a beeline for it and the handlers could not get them interested in anything of a less concentrated form.
so maybe a distraction? best wishes nigel
