Anyways, my girlfriend is coming to town in 10 days, and she's probably going to stay for 2-5 days. How long will i be "safe" to hide the plants in darkness for?

I have her convinced to stay in a Hotel room for 1 of the potential evenings, and let my timer take care of everything for me. If she'd find them i'd be dead =\ bad news.
They are all 22 days old, still Veg'n.

There's no way im just gonna kill them off so she can stay here, but I can't keep her out of my house and my room the entire time she's here, she likes to wander around too much..

I'm sure somebody has had to do something like this before, what works and what doesnt?
or am i gonna have to convince her to stay away the whole time?

i understand havin a girl that doesnt want you to do drugs and smoke all the time... but its just a plant... if shes gonna freak cause of 1 plants...dude, i dont know what to say....

you got an attick? or a cabinet you can put it in? or give it to a friend?

I asked a friend to care for it for the few days she'd be here, but he lives with 2 people on probation, 1 intense probation. He WOULD take the plant, but he's afraid that something might happen with the cops coming to search the house because of them, seeing as it will be over new years eve the biggest party day of the year.

I could put it in my attic but its probably about 50 degrees up in there this time of year, and i have no way to hook lights up anywhere.

My mother knows about the grow, but she doesnt want me to move it to her room, i was thinking of having my brother sleep in my room and look after them for me so that she will not go in there. But I don't think thats gonna work, she'll wanna go when he's at work.

I just don't have anywhere that i could keep them getting light at all...... She'll be following me around everywhere i go for 3 whole days at least.

You can try and be out of the house wit here when our brother is a work, and when he's at home get him to pretend you and him have swapped bedrooms.

do you have a garage or shed you could use?

what about a large box to hide it in?

what about any spare rooms?

do you have 2 bathrooms (washrooms ), you could maybe hijack one for a fewdays?

i would consider making your attic so you could move plants there temporarily for times like these, just supply an extension cord for power and a small fan heater (hot air blower). if shes just in veg, and the temps dont drop too much, you maybe ok for a few days.

remember, this may no be the only time you need to do this, you may have a situation like this in the future, so planning is always good

Worst case you hide them in the dark a few days(they will be OK just don't water too much). Starting flowering early is better than getting rid of them if you can't find another solution. If you put them right back on 18hrs they may not even flower yet.

well i should probably get a new girlfriend. but thats not an issue quite yet. There's no way i am going to rid the plants. But this is a girl who thinks im destroying my life and potentionally mine, and she gives me the same speech that a moderator gives to someone underage "u can lose yer house, jail time etc.." And i wanna refrain from hearing that this time around...

I live in a 3 bedroom house, 1 is a loft, ones my mothers room, and one is my room. 1 bathroom, 1 laundry room, and a closet under the stairs.. I thought about moving them there but im not sure i can get any power in there without a buncha cords running all over the place.. In my future plans however, it is ALOT bigger than the room im using right now. Planned on lining the walls with floros for my vegging and getting a few more lights in it as well. Just may have to do that earlier than I'd thought.

Now keeping her out of the house is no problem at all. i have many places that i could put them in the dark at. So i guess it looks like im just gonna hafta take my chances and hide em for the time she's here and baby the heck out of em when she leaves..
Maybe to make up for the difference i'll go buy em 2 more floros and see if it makes any difference.

For now i'd just be happy as long as i get just a little bud rather than none at all.. But i'm not trying to chance telling her to stay home and not see her for months to come only to find out that my bag seed has given me 3 males.. I dono what i'd do then heh

Now would it be better to just keep them in the dark, or if i could sneak in maybe 4-6 hours of light per day would that be better, or cause light stress? maybe even let them sit where they'd get some sunshine on my enclosed porch each day, It gets cold but not that cold out there, and nobody but the house next door would be able to see them and that house is empty..
I hate being in tight situations.

I've had my entire grow stuffed into a u-haul truck for up to 2 days before, not light no automatic watering, granted I slipped into the truck from time to time and hand watered them and also wasnt too hot so the heat didnt kill em. So I'd say they will probably be fine without light for up to 3 days or so at most (kinda like what would happen during a power outage) just be sure to water em when they need it. You can slip that in im sure. Good luck!
