the electricity bill
permalink

hey all, thanks for stoppin' in.

i was wondering if you rented an apartment/house that had all utilities included within the rent if they'd notice a large increase in power used due to a mary je wanna grow?

or am i better off with a place where i can pay the electricity bill myself and out of the hands of suspicious land lords?

thanks

If youre bill is 50% higher then the rest, the landlord will investigate. Its his money you are spending and a sudden increase will draw red flags on to where it is coming from. You will certainly be uncovered.

hey man i was just joking.. i wouldnt walk up to your landlord and ask them if they toke up, especially if you have a grow going

i would bring it up in a converstion, just the account of drugs in general.. dont hint that you smoke unless they do.. just me but i would be careful

i don't think that a small grow would be a problem. If you have only a 400W bulb running 18/6, it will raise your electric bill by ~$10 / month. That's not too noticable. However, growing in an apartment is an added risk nobody wants to take. If you can wait until you find a house you would be better off.

if you take the proper precautions and dont become sloppy.. you should be fine growing in an apartment, as long as you pay your own electricity bills
