...I am worried, now that it is summer, and I want to put an ozone generator in the growroom to mask the exhaust smell. I have heard this can cause problems with the plants. Any imput is appreciated... JG

![]() | use the search man, you'll find tons of info. The main thing you'll see is, to use just the right amount of ozone, too much and it will hurt you and your plants, get a good timer with minute settings, put a switch on it (given, 9000+v is a deathwish), have a good ground...etc if you smell ozone, it's too much. | ||

in line would be the way to do it. However, you can also utilize negative air pressure to your advantage, just make the outgoing exhaust larger than intake, then no smell escapes outward.

really nothing to elaborate on. as long as the room is essentially "boxed" in, then it will work. The outgoing fan is the key, as long as it it larger in cfm's than the intake, the outgoing fan will create "negative" air pressure because it will be trying to suck all the air from anywhere, so no air escapes "outward". I dont know how to make this any simpler. You can ask S2, for another definition if you like. Hes the "negative" air pressure master. ![]() check out this thread for S2's posts on neg air pressure
