Homes negative Ion with a Charcoal carbon scrubber.. I bought 2 of them... I put them outside of my grow room.. I grow in a garage.. in a closet in a garage.. So i just keep it outside my open closet.. Both of them.. And bam.. It smells like a Vaporizer of bud in my garage.. And believe me.. That stuff gets in your wood and the smell will not go away for a month... I attribute my safety to these things.. My first grow I had nothing... And you could smell my grow of 2 plants 30 feet away...

That's when I decided to do something... I didn't know any better that they would stink that bad.. Be warned.. Pot smells Extremely potent when flowering..

I use ozone cause i can't control the air pressure in my grow room to use a carbon scrubber. If i had the money and choice to convert my grow room to neg air pressure and completly seal it off i would drop the ozone gen and use a carbon scrubber in a heart beat.

It all depends on what you have as a grow room, cause i know some ppl have tried the carbon scrubber and it didn't work efficently. so they went to a neg ion gen or a ozone gen and it worked like a dream, but at a health risk.

using air tiger 2, i don't even think i need it. but then again i just starting the flower cycle now.

pros i think it will work perfectly, i have it connected to the ducts. cons I am freaking out everytime about my health. first think i do is run to turn it off when enter area. Ducts where too short and not make it to the window yet.

if anyone has or use the air tiger 2, can you tell me where the high and low is. It sounds like stupid question but where it read high it is quite and on where it reads low it seems noisy. I don't know where high is.

Don't try to be smart like me a get a extra strong blower, there really is no need for a setup like mine. I have it on low and it is only creating problems. it is suckin my black and white paper off the window. it was a scary sh_t. It happen a few times, I learn now to go straight to wood and board it up. I am playing a dangerous game right now. hope no one saw it.

I have a 24cf flowering chamber, a 250cfm inline blower exhausting into a home-made carbon scrubber made from an old speaker box, three carbon furnace filters from the hardware store and activated charcol I got at the pet store. I am just finishing a bubblegum x NL5 that is very odiforous and for me, the carbon scrubber took care of all my odour problems.

I have a 4x2x7 closet in a bedroom with sliding doors. I use a kool tube connected to a 243 cfm fan. This serves as exhaust for the room too.

I do 2 things:

1. exhaust into the attic, creating negative pressure in the closet
2. use a room ozone generator, placed just outside the closet, to kill odors which escape.

Seems to work well. I had a bathroom exhaust fan venting to the attic on my last grow. I grew Sweet Tooth #4 and Bubblegum.

i use 'hah-nuthin' but for my brand spankin new room, i will be lashing-up some heath-robinson version of S2's well 'ard underground activated carbon exhaust outlets...

as its a piece of dawg'on genius thinkin and we can all use a bit of that now and agin..

Speaking of scent, I'd bet a bunch of money (since I live in an apt complex...AND since the scent IS probable cause to search your vehicle) that if an officer and his drug dog just "happen" to be walking through the complex and breezeways, and the dog alerts at your door...that it would be valid cause to get a search warrant.

THAT is spooky.

I have a 600w/hps in a 100 sq ft room,the grow is set up in a corner,I bring fresh air in and exhaust through a home made carbon scrubber made with furnace filters and activated charcol.

This does the job 90%
so I suplement with odor absorbing gel.

this does the job and I change the gel when the wife complains, since the smell doesn't seam to have any effect on me.

I've added two more layers of charcol since this pic was taken

o, I have three plants well into flowering now
