I would probably use a carbon filter. I saw a thread awhile back with instructions to make a scrubber out of a active carbon sheet and a box fan. I dunno if it works well but it may be worth a try. But then again I don't have the experience that many other ppl have.........

I'm going to order one of these. http://www.airreactor.com/hthome.htm
From what I've read on Overgrow .com. this product will remove all odor problems in closet size grow area.

Speaking of Overgrow.com , does anyone know why the site is down?

You need something much stronger than that. Odor magnets don't remove the smell, they mask it. And they don't do that very effectively

Finally got a carbon filter. Works great.
I think the ONA gel was probably about the best in terms of cost vs smell control.
Grown various numbers under about 2000 watts from 6 to 30. If you want more info you can always check my GJ.
MENDRE thats an understatement!..... O.N.A. "IS AMAZING STUFF".

My cabnet is only 5 x 7 x 2 1/2...if I did that right..5ft high..7ft long..2 1/2ft wide. Using a 400hps + 150hps(had it, might as well use it) I exuast through the top side of cabnet using a 4" in-line duct fan connected to (dryer type) flex venting hose which vents to the outside, along with a passive intake. I wasent using any kind of oder control.

have two strains 1) white widow, 2) unknown-cronic but very potent
NOTE: both are very strong odor producers when flowering

I have 7 bowels.........3 are in the "flower" cabnet.....2 are in the clone/vegg area.......and the other 2 are just in the general area of the two rooms.

heres exactly what you do.

1. one package ( 3 oz ) soil moist crystals...(carefull they REALLY expand)

2. water

3. O.N.A. (odor neturalizing agent)....It neturalizes dosent "cover up"!

4. water worthy bowls/containers

I use the liquid O N A.....

pour your soil moist into bowl and add water, the soil moist acts like a sponge and holds water. Now its as simple as "adding a splash" of O.N.A. then stir...

JUST LIKE WHITE TEA..........." THATS IT "

Before getting the ona, as soon as I walked out the door all I could smell was a strong odor and thats not a good thing with neigbors 10 feet away from your vent.

Now I can step outside and theres no smell....NONE, zip, zero, nothing!

even better, theres no smell when I enter the grow area

and the part that completely amazed me was when I opened my flowering cabnet ( 5 plants in full bloom ) THERES NO F*****G SMELL

you actually have to put your nose right up to the plant to get a whiff.

Now this will last you about 3 to 4 weeks. NOTE: you should "stir" each bowl you have about once a week.

The soil moist will "dry out" but does so very very slowly (as shown in pix below).

As the soil moist dries out , it will kinda look like crushed ice,

no worrys...you simply add more water and a "splash of O.N.A. stir and again "your good to go".

the soil moist is re-usable....over and over again.

1 liter of ona will last me over a year costing 18.00 and a 3oz bag of soil moist costing 5.00

thats 23.00 per year for piece of mind.

This is ideal for those in apartments or in closets where theres limited options for venting odor.

Anyone else with good results using O.N.A. speak up and give this great product the credit it truely deserves.

Well, I just got my 1 QT bottle of ONA Gel (Fresh Linen scent). Opened it up and set it in front of a huge fan in my livingroom for a little while so it would blow through the rest of the apartment just to see what the stuff is like.
Seems a little strong and chemical-smelling to me. Sorta expected someone to knock on my door and ask wtf the smell was. I'm sure when it airs out, the place will smell a lot better than it did though.

The water/water crystal method seems like a good idea.

Hey
I found that coffee beans and mustard seeds, both smashed of course is an easy and effective way to reduce odar. Trucking large amounts has a obvious odar.... use the beans and seeds imo!!

I live in a small college town and thats all there really is here other than bars( auburn, AL ) so finding anything nice for growing is hard. i have a lowes, home depot, and super wal-mart ohhh and a really really crappy ace hardware. i mean i cant even find any lighting over a 40 watt floro and ebay is risky cause its tha parents account.
