Does anyone know of ant traps you could use to prevent/find out if anyone has found your grow? Only thing I've thought of is mouse traps under grass and branches (if its broken I know it has been stepped on). Anything in appreciated.

use anything designed to hurt or inflict bodily injury. I have a couple of ideas: just "wipe" the ground area before you leave so that anyone walking around after you have gone will leave footprints. tie up some string or tape so when someone walks thru it, it breaks.

I know of a cat that walks through the area. DAMN CATS. Whats to stop a cat from setting off tape? I need something that a cat won't set off.

will always be in the equation. At least the footprints will tell a tale. No pun intended.   edit: also, you could stagger the heights of the tape/string, that way, couldnt be just a cat walking around.

| If you have some money to spend, they have cameras meant for hunters that are turned on when the motion detector is set off. They cost about $80, but they are small and work very well.

| I have been pondering this same question for a while and I was thinking, with all the animals (deer and what not) around...what if you were to leave like a $5 bill laying on the ground near your grow (I guess $1 would even work), secured down as not to blow away. I don't know of many people who would pass up money just laying on the ground for the taking. I was also thinking about digging a 10ft deep hole and covering it with branches so I could catch and torture anyone FLICKING with my girls...but then again I only have a few and maybe my first idea would be more practicle. Anyone have any thoughts on this $ idea?

| the money would be a good idea, but if anyone was back there for no reason, or just suspicion, then they would know people or you had been back there. Plus if a cop was searching it he might be smart enough not to touch it. But very good idea!

Here's what I do to see if deer are crossing where I put up my stand . Take some sewing thread and run it across the trail at about two feet off the ground , when you return the thread will be broken or not depending on traffic . Good Luck .
