This company offers to install secret rooms in your house accessed by special candlabras, hidden buttons, books on a "magic" bookshelf, etc. The videos/animations on this site are absolutely brilliant and supposedly they have "do it yourself" installations for as little as US$1500. Planning a new grow room??

Seriously though, so long as it's not too hard to install I would certainly consider an addition like that if it protects my freedom. On that note:


'bout 2 months ago one of my friends who grows was robbed @ gunpoint (it was just bad luck, the robbers didnt know about any weed that may be around). The neighbors called the cops because they saw the comotion. Like 5 squad cars showed up and they searched the shit out of his house...

To make a long story short, my friend built a homemade, non mechanized version of what is shown on that site and it kept him from getting busted whatsoever - case and point.

My step-father's Dad was an architect and when he retired he built an awesome mansion type cottage to live in. He has a bookshelf door that is triggered by a candelabra, which leads to a spiral staircase, which leads to his vintage wine cellar downstairs and a lighthouse lookout thing upstairs. Pretty tight.

I'm toying with the idea of building a barn on the back of my property built into the hillside - wouldn't it be sweet to have a secret passage to an underground grow room that was completely unrecognizable from anywhere inside or outside the building? Hmmm.... wheels are turning.

The problems that I have seen with elaborate growroom is that the construction itself can draw attention. I mean obviously I dunno what your circumstances are with neighbors and whatnot, but I have read a couple newslinks from kcir about this happenin'

Although im sure with some care your barn-jungle-tunnel could be a reality

This is the hidden grow room I had at a former house. The closet originally was 5x5 and I just cut it in half with a wall.

The book/shoe shelf locked onto the wall and could only be released by pushing a poker through a small hole at the bottom and releasing the bottom shelf which allowed you to pull a pin that locked it to the wall.

I had guests stay in that bedroom many times and no one ever knew what it was. I even asked my brother to look for my grow room as a test. He never found it.

The pictures here are of it empty, just before I tore it down so you will have to imagine books and shoes resting on it.
