I'd say thats a pretty big friggin' stereotype. Saying that people who carry a gun will shoot you just cuz u piss them off. This turns into a stereotype of americans when you say that canadians arn't allowed to carry guns, but americans are.

Seriously man, I don't mean to fight and bicker with you or anyone else for that matter...

In my state, gun supporters have found a loophole in the gun law. Apparently, if you have an FOI card, you can carry a handgun in a closed fanny pack and not violate any laws. Brilliant, huh? These are the same people that are debating a concealed handgun law. Cant wait to see what "loopholes" are found in this one.

I think these people who insist on carying guns and buying automatic weapons should take up pot smoking instead. I personaly understand why someone waould want to have a rifle, for hunting or home protection, whatever.... I personaly don't need one because I am a vegitarian and a pacifist so a gun dose not fit me. a hand gun or auto weapon is rediculess to owen. And this people who say they need it to protect themselves from the government are silly, they think that because they have an Uzi, a m-16, and ak-47 that they can fight the U.S. army hahahaha what a joke. Remember Wacco Texas, they had guns, it didn't help them to much. I hate paying taxes and dealing with the goverment like everyone else, I hate asre war on our people(drug war), and I hate the way we can't pass laws to protect the envirment because big oil companies run our country, but me having an arsonal wouldn't help that for sure.


ok so I'm ranting now and I'll shut up, My point is only growing and smoking pot is a better hobby then gun totting, so why don't these people take up the pot hobby instead.

I too find it silly to carry around a gun with you all the time. But to own an uzi, ak47, etc... thats different. It all depends why you own it... if its for fighting the government and crap like that, then yes, its silly, but for some people its a hobby to collect such guns and to fire them at practice ranges. Nothing wrong with that as long as they are responsible about it.

I collect various types of firearms as hobby. And I have never used my guns to do anything other the 'plinking'.
Rember that gus don;t kill peopl..people kill people and if there were no guns they would kill people with rocks and sticks.

My point is that just because i own a AK-47 dosent mean I'm out killing people.. It's a hobby.. Some people collect stamps I collect guns whats wrong with that?

dont give me that BS. guns kill people. they do. and dont say they dont, because when i was 10, and really stupid i found my dads shotgun stash in the basement, took one out with my brother to the forest and shot him in the leg by accident.. how could i be smart about it?? i was a 10 year old dummy and had never shot a gun in my life.. not only was my brother shot in the leg (not badly thank goodness) but i coulda taken my own arm off! it threw me back quite a ways.

another point is, if someone is carrying a gun around as self defense,the only reason they need a gun is because other people have guns. if you got rid of the guns, then the criminals wouldnt be able to carry guns either. and if they did anyways, they would have a harder time getting them, and they wouldnt be able to carry them in plain view.
whatever.. im out of this conversation.

How can in inanimate objuct be responcable for doing something? It dosent have a brain..? It was both your fault and your fathers fault fot not storeing it properly. If people would stat taking responcability for there actions adn not placing the blame esleware we wouldn't be having the problem we face in this country.....

Guns dont kill people, Heavy metal music dosen kill peole, Video games dont kill peole and the Devil dosent kill people.

People Kill People We have brains and can make desisions... Even if they are not good ones. I live in a place where 1 in 3 people are armed and we have some of the lowest violent crime rates for any major city in the USA!!

Did people get killed by other peole before the invention of the gun..? YES!! and even if you took them away people would find a way to kill others..

I don't mean to sound like a NRA spokesman. but i'm tired of pepole blaming there stupid mistakes on in inanimate objucts!! it's just stupid!!

i remember a few years ago one kid shot his brother in the face with his dads handgun. He thought it wasnt loaded. It was. are you saying that this kid woulda found another way to kill his brother?? And yes, their dad has a brain, but he made a bad decision and stored the gun improperly. Im not blaming an inanimate object. is the government inanimate?? no. thats the point. im saying some laws should be changed. disagree if you want to, because this is just my opinion.

Yoru right, It was the dads fault. Thats why (deing a dad myself) thats my guns are always stored in a locked locker.

But I do see and understand your point.

See I was raised with gus my whole life and to me owning one is just like having a car.. There are responcibilities that come with ownership... Maybe there should be a responcibility check before your allowed to own one..LOL
