| What was the timing on the whole cycle. From dropping your money order in a mail box to opening the envelope in your hands. Were the delivered regular mail to your house? Thinking of doing Nirvana through seeds direct. That Blueberry comparison done by Bog from OG really impressed me. And I've heard great things about Bubble Gum Thanks...have a cookie ![]() Mama Budz | ||

![]() | The time from drop off to deliver was less than two weeks, and I'm in the midwest States! I was expecting much longer. Props to the stealth too...all I can say is when you get something with that green customs sticker on it and can't figure out what it is don't throw it away! Keep working and thinking and soon you'll find what you're looking for ...keep me posted Mama!

| Do you mean the light green sticker on the envelope that has a customs stamp and seeds written under content on the envelope? I've seen this on some of my seeds from Canada and UK ... the heirloom hollyhocks I'm growing out this year and some of the quality herbs I grow come from hobby breeders in these countries Here's an off subject customs story entitled: COMRADES IN CUSTOMS Recently purchased a samovar (cost me $36 for the Samovar, and $63 for the shipping ) from Russia. When it arrived it was obvious this huge Russian Tea Urn had been extensively inspected at the Russian border. I think this is mainly due to it's shap. A Samovar, or Russian communal tea urn, is customarily built of nice heavy gauge nickel and tin or brass and appears to have a large metal pipe running through it's center (the chimney and miniature interior fireplace that boils the water in the exterior of the urn for tea at all hours). Jus imagine their assumptions when this showed up on the Xray machines. This is where it gets cool. The inspectors did their job, thoroughly. But then they very carefully put the entire machine back together. See everyone in Russia has one of these in their home, or in grandma's home, and for an Amerikan to order a Samovar for their own home must have touched a nerve. They carefully re-folded the cutaway box around the Urn, with the packaging styrofoam bits carefully placed back into the more delicate parts, and sewed the entire package tightly into a muslin sheet. They actually hand stitched the package back into shape so that it could continue on without being damaged. Along all the stitching lines were Russian wax impressed stampswith cyrilic (sp?) characters and in French (Langue Internacionale) "PAR AVION". It arrived untouched, with the exception of US customs stamped OK on it We've saved the Bag and recycled it as the official Samovar Dust cover. ![]() | Mama, I emailed seedsdirect and asked them for their opinion on Nirvana Vs. Dutch, other than price. They responded with a hearty laugh and said that they find no difference, except in pricing. So the 10/$15 Nirvana asks is just as good as the 15/$80 Dutch asks for the same seeds, well not exactly the same, but you know what I mean. My wife and I are ordering 10 of 5 different strains, all because they are sweet and early bloomer's 56 days or so: White Widow - Fantaseeds Blueberry - Nirvana Early Girl - Nirvana Original Northern Lights - KC Brains Durban Poison (ok not so sweet, LOL) - Nirvana | ||

![]() | DigitalT - I would be wary of buying KCBrains strains. I bought their Leda Uno and it had an appallingly low germ rate (3/10 if I remember correctly), I have also heard of other people having similarly poor results with KCBrains. FYI, the LU seeds were germed at the same time and under identical conditions to 2 Nirvana strains and Brothers Grimm In/Out mix all of which had a 100% germ rate.
