Question Just put in an order . . .

. . . with Heaven's Stairway this afternoon. I've seen a few of us here get seeds from them and be happy with how fast they were, their stealth, their pricing, etc.

I ordered through their web-site and then took the resulting order number and used BidPay to get them the cash. So the transaction is set, now I guess I wait for Heaven's Stairway to ship. I'll keep y'all posted on how it goes.

Oh, what did I order? I got the following

Skunk #1
California Orange
Flo
Bubblegum
Northern Lights #5
Cinderella 99 (just 5 seeds)

Now that might seem like a big order, but consider my reasons. First: I just got my tax refund check from the US government. Second: I thought the whole refund idea was a bull**** way to sell GWB's tax scheme to support the rich. Third: I wanted both to piss him off and not support the US economy, which was the stated reason for the refund. Fourth: I have a long-standing policy of spending government money on the herb, just seems karmicly right you know.

So I figured I'd use the refund to buy marijuana seeds from a Canadian company! How could I piss off George W. more? (Not that I want him to know what I did of course, but it's the principle of the matter.) In total my order came to $305 (US) which means that I chipped in $5 to my tax refund and hopefully I'll soon have some cool seeds.

My plan is to grow for seeds for the first grow of each strain. Once I have a decent seed collection then I'll start in on growing just sensimilla.

Peace.

Unhappy Oh, well...hindsight is 20-20...

What was I thinking??? I should have done the same exact thing with my bogus bonus too! How better to stick it in the face of this farce?

Let's all have a big hit for ABS and his fitting use of GWB's "tip"!

Stay Green!

Echo...interesting thought!

But...would that be interest from the previous tax year, or over a lifetime of payments?

I think that might be the issue.

Not sticking up for GWB, far from it, but that might just be the loophole they need. They seem to always have an "out"

Maybe I just don't understand this whole "rebate" thing in its entirety. Very possible. I just know that my $500 came at a very opportune time! Can you say HPS??

Stay Green!

Okay...how did this post end up before the post I was commenting on???

clarity point...

Hey abs,

Sorry buddy but I'm a stickler for details. About your Fourth point.

"Fourth: I have a long-standing policy of spending government money on the herb, just seems karmicly right you know."

It was actually your money to begin with remember. And I'll bet you didnt give it up because of your good nature. You earned, you got it back before they wasted it. I just wrote them a note demanding that I want the interest as well. They never seem to reply to those notes though.

Thumbs up Got 2/3!!!!

*laugh* Go ahead, be a stickler then. I'm still spending any government checks I get on our herb. Such is my compulsion.

On a more positive note I got 2 of the three shipments from Heaven's Stairway in! That not too bad for time from money sent via BidPay to stuff in my mailbox.

On the downside it means there's still one out there, and that has me nervous. It'll all work out I'm sure. Just very tempting right now to empty the house of my old grow's dirt and the live plant I have now.

So here's what I got in today: Cinderella 99, Skunk #1, Bubblegum, and Flo. I'm still waiting on Northern Lights #5 and California Orange. Since the NL#5 is what I want to start with I'll start the grow after I get the whole shipment in.

Speaking of which I'm quite pleased to be nearly done with this. It's nerve wracking for now, but once it's over I'll have 6 good strains to grow with. I figure 6 strains should be more than enough for any grower who's as inexperienced an amateur as I am. So for a few week's nerves I get independant forever! Knock-out!

Peace.

Angry *Grrrr* Still not here.

I'm still waiting for that missing third shipment. *Growl*

Needless to say, I'm getting real nervous right now. In fact I went in yesterday and chopped down my last plant. I threw her out. I threw out the clones I was starting. I threw out the dirt & roots from my last grow (shoulda done that a while ago). I also threw out all my clippings.

So I'm left wondering if I should throw out my stash. I think I'll try to find a place for my seeds other than at my house, that much is certain. Not sure if I should try to move the light, it's kinda incriminating, and I'm unsure if I should delete all those photos I took that never made it up onto my Annalisa thread.

I don't want to be overly paranoid, but a pack of Northern Lights & Cali Orange seeds are missing, and they have my name and address on them. This is really vexing me, the shipments should have all arrived at the same time, did customs get it? Am I being surveilled?

I guess I'll delete my files and move my stuff into the basement. The seeds can go off-site. At least they'll have trouble convicting me of growing if they come. The seeds in the missing shipment will be damning, but the rest is purely circumstantial.

Hopefully the seeds will arrive soon. But if they don't I'm not starting another grow for several months. I have no intent of risking my freedom quite yet, that time may come mind you, but when I get arrested it will be for smoking a joint on Capital Hill, not for growing. (least 'ways that's my hope)

Peace.

Abs,

I feel for ya, pal. Every time I read a post like this from the States, it reminds me just how great it is to be up here. I'm growing 8 plants myself, and if the cops ever showed, I might not even be CHARGED. If they're cool, which surprisingly most here are, they'll see it's for personal use and they'll give you a scare and that's all. It helps that I'm a Good Citizen with no "history" of any sort, but if you treat them with due respect, they'll do the same. They don't want to ruin your life for a few lousy plants, and they won't get any good press from busting a tiny crop anyway.

I hope your seeds show soon so you can rest easy.

Cheers,
Nuggs
