hello...im a first time grower and i ordered my seeds from seedsdirect recently, and i have almost nothing to say but good things about them.

i ordered some California Indica seeds from them - and they arrived a little over a week later. Not bad for coming from halfway around the globe. The only bad thing I have to say - is that the CI seeds i ordered had a 0 germination rate (so far). I planted 8 seeds and not one germinated.

On the other hand, they kindly threw in some Chrystal Nirvana seeds for free, and i planted 5 of those. Strangely enough - 100% germination rate. I have 5 healthly CN plants growing now. I know it wasn't my fault that the CI's didnt germinate...they were in the same germination conditions as the CN's that did germinate. Therefore, I believe it was strictly a bad batch of seeds from the seed producers to SeedsDirect.

Overall, it was a good experience. I didn't get exactly what I planned on, but through Gypsy's prompt, kind service, I was able to fulfill my plan, which was simply to grow some weed.

I plan on doing business with SD again in the future.

and its also good for people on here to see good and bad experiences with any seed bank. It helps give them a fair warning on what they are gettin into to Congrats on your germ. keep us posted on there progress.

did u pay with paypal or send a Money order in? i am thinking about ordering from SD but i dunno whether i should use paypal or send the money order....if u sent a money order to them from the US and it came that quick then i'll definitely do that. thanks.

i sent a PayPal payment. i felt a little unsecure about this - but im glad i did it now, as i sped up the process greatly.

the reason alot of times seeds do not get delivered to the US customers may be due to the customs discovering them. Many have been quick to critise and attack SD but Gypsy can't do anything to stop that happening.
I totaly trust the guy and have only good things to say.

yeah - i'd imagine it doesnt happen often though. the stealth packaging was amazing....it took me a few minutes to figure it out.

Yeah, I have nothing bad to say about SD either...

For my first grow, I got the indoor grow mix from them because it was super cheap and I figured it would be better than bagseed, and they threw in 10 free Pure Power Plant seeds. After looking at both, I said 'known genetics, short, stocky, smooth with an up high - this is what I should be growing first time out!' I put 3 in to germ, waited a few days, got nervous, threw the whole package in, and the next day most of them started sprouting.

I sprouted 9/10, and had to xplant six of the seedlings into a two new pots before they choked each other out. I just switched the lights to 12/12 last weekend, and I'm still unsure of the male/female ratio. After looking at all the preflower pictures I can find, the best I can come up with is they're all female...? (9/9? Doubt that...) Ironically, I hope I get at least one male so I can knock up at least one lady and get some seeds for next year...

Oh yeah- i made some rum hash from the prunings two weeks ago, put it in the H2O pipe last weekend and it knocked me on my ass. Smoothest smoke I've had since Amsterdam. Can't wait for harvest time!

DoobieDoo - if you politely email seedsdirect and explain that you got 0 germination in identical conditions to the seeds that germinated 100% they should send you some replacements. I bought some Leda Uno that had a poor germination rate (but not as bad as yours), I emailed them and they said they would send me a free pack of Nirvana seeds next time I ordered...so I ordered 2 packs and they sent me 3 free packs of Nirvana seeds

I used Bacardi 151 as the solvent to pull the THC out of the clippings, instead of the cheap rubbing alcohol people usually use. I found it added a nice, sweet taste to the hash as a result.
I will post the whole story and method with pictures and equipment diagrams in the methods of use forum after I give it another try (after harvest) to foolproof it.

Still lovin' that power plant!
