Thumbs up Recommendations?

I just got $160 from a sale, but I owe someone $40, so that leaves me $120 to use for new seeds. I just grew bagseed this crop for experience, so now im ready to get some seedbank stuff. After scouring the internet and getting descriptions of strains, im partial to c99, ak-47, white widow, and any relative of them. so my questions are:

Which seedbank should I buy from? Im concerned about buying low quality seeds, but i also want to try and get 2 different strains with my $120... right now im looking at Heaven's Stairway's selection. has anyone ever bought from them? if so, was it a good deal?

Has anyone grown white russian or ice princess? those are crosses the above mentioned strains, which sounds like they would be AWESOME If ice princess is as good as it sounds, i'm willing to save up the extra $30 i'd need and get another strain next time i have money.

Thanx in advance

Heavens Stairway Great For Me

I've bought seeds three times from Heaven's Stairway and each time has been speedy and painless and very secure. I am currently growing some White Russian ladies I purchased from them and they look great. All but 2 seeds germinated and those 2 flops were probably my fault. The plants look really great and have grown really well with little maintenance. I just put them to flower on the first so I won't know the actual result for 8 weeks, but it's looking real good right now. I'm currently waiting on some seeds from them, a "sative diva" mix of seeds which were pretty low cost - basically an unamed smattering of different sativas that got lost from their own kind and so Heaven's Stairway sells them as a little mix. Should be interesting to see what they turn into!!!

Yeah, I think everyone on this board will agree that Heaven's Stairway and Seeds Direct are the best seedbanks. I've had many successful transactions with HS. Never dealt with Seeds Direct, but I've heard good things, especially about their shipping (they charge $5 per 4 packs of seeds, but it's supposed to be *very* stealthy ). They also offer seeds from some breeders that HS does not, so they're worth a look.

Yeah I agree, both are pretty much equal, it only boils down to strain selection in the end, and of course your locale.

the c99 and the ak47 would be a great strains to start with too

peace,

Well, i went and spent a bunch of that money on other stuff (mostly a bubbler system ) so now i'm down to $60. I'll save up some more cash and get some seeds then. i've always had pretty good germination rates with the way i do it, so im expecting that my luck should continue with the seedbank seeds

I can definitely say that serious seeds' AK-47 is SERIOUS.Good yield with a high thats ruthless. The seeds ranged between 9-12 weeks to reach full maturity but I grew it a few years back though so they might be a bit more stabilised now.
Anyway they were well worth the money.I picked an 11 weeker to clone from and lost the power of speech for a couple of years.
