I have heard different stories about ordering seeds. Since I live in the states how safe is it to order seeds. Will it be traced to me? How is the best way to order, puter ,mail, etc. I had friends order years ago but things are alot different today. Help I need good seeds!!!!

dissy, go to greenmans seed bank ratings page (link above) and it has a list of safe seed banks to buy from, particulary, heavens stairway is the most well known, safest seed bank talked about around here. ive heard (read) stories about how the guy who runs it is very nice and gets the seeds to you quickly and safely, ive read stories where seeds got lost in the mail and where never recived so he sent out the same order again for that person! which is a really nice thing to do! and that person got them the 2nd time without a prob. also, some seed banks you pay a expensive price for a really good strain and they send you some crap seeds that arnt nearly as good as the ones you ordered, i heard heavens stairway does not do this. i will probably get my seeds from this bank also just because i have heard so many good reviews about it around here!

Hey guys...today is my first time ordering seeds from a seedbank. I live in the U.S. too. I ordered from Heaven's Stairway..I'll see how it goes..

I've ordered from Heaven's Stairway a couple of times, both times getting the seeds in around 10 or so days. This last batch of 10 had all 10 germinate. I also had them mail to "Resident", but it shouldn't matter as they don't keep records of sales anyway.

Hey man, can you keep me posted on your results from the seedbank ordering? I would appreciate it, I'm stilled a little nervous about sending money to people I don't know like this for illegal gain. But if it works for you then I shall try it. Thank the "FREAK"

Closet Freak - worked for me just fine about a month ago. Ordered some $40 Afghani seeds from Heaven's Stairway, got them about two weeks after sending the cash. Very fast. Of course, I then proceeded to ruin 8 out of the 10, but that's my fault
By the way, write "AIRMAIL" below the return address and to the left of the destination address. It usually gets your mail delivered quicker internationally, and for some reason doesn't cost anything.

(edit) Oh, and be sure to use the proper postage! $0.55 or so from US->Canada, I think. Check http://www.usps.gov

Thanks for the tid-bit on the ordering man, I have heard that Heavens Stairway is the best to order from, acording to these threads that is. I'd just like to say to all that read these threads that everyone I have talked to are most helpful and very friendly. Very nice place to visit, This is better than any chat room, don't you agree. The "FREAK" saying keep it freaky!!!
