![]() | If I'm gonna do this then I want to do it good. Yeild is what I'm after. I want to grow alot, enough for a yr's worth, then put everything up and when I'm close to running out, break out the growing equipment and start over. This will be done indoors. I WANT ALOT OF YEILD! Thanks to whoever can help me, please indicated what kinds of yeild you have experienced with kinds of seeds please. Flowering time not important as I have all the time in the world. Just wanting to get off on the right foot, maybe left which ever grows the most bud. "FREAK" I'm also interested in getting the great knock-u-on-your-ass kind of body buz, one that leaves you looking at the TV and drooling without knowing it ha ha. Forgot to say this will be done in soil not hydro. Thanks again, "FREAK"

![]() | well for that 'couch lock' type of buzz, you would be looking for Indica strains. They have the heavy, body buzz as opposed to Sativa's which have the up,happy, trippy kind of buzz. Do a search over at http://www.overgrow.com . They have a nice strain base with lots of good info. Also go to http://www.cannabisculture.com (marc emery's site) and check his strain base. He has a very nice one. You can pick out high yielding Indica strains (or whatever) and go from there. Some of those seeds can get very expensive. But...in the end...YOU will determine how much you yield. If you have the right lights, the right setup, the right kind of plant, don't screw anything up..you should get the highest possible yields. But,lots of things can happen to throw a monkey wrench in your plans. Ya gots to know what you are doing. Try a search on increasing yields. Hint: Hydro will increase yields. Methinks people do not utilize our search feature enough ![]() Knowledge is Power cy ![]()

![]() | CajunYank, I have been emersed in these threads, forums, etc... for the last 30-40 days, reading books, just about all I can cram for knowledge. Thing is now, I wanted some personal opinions of people like yourself, and wolfman and a few others, on what might be your personal best strains. I have several options on places to grow now, but haven't exactly got it started, I figure I have about another month to 2 mnths before I really get into it hard. I have searched till my eyes are about to pop out, not to mention my wife getting mad at me for spending so much time on the computer reading and researching. I have spent just about 1-2 hrs daily reading threads and what ever might pertain to what I'm thinking about at that time. But it's just about time to turn off the computer and turn on the grow lights, in a manner of speaking. So I just wanted the opinion of some one I am sure I can trust, such as you. Thanks for the info, "FREAK"

![]() | read the description`s to the varius types of strains. they usually tell you the yield and the types of high that each kind will give. a very high yielding strain is big bud it`s the highest yielding strain i`ve come across. so anything that has it in it xpect a big to good yield.it also depends on the light output .[a 400 watt light wouldn`t even compare to a 1000 watt light.}in most situations.good luck p.s. heavens stairway is an xcellent seedbank also got to there chat and then auction for other quality strains.

![]() | guys, yield has almost nothing to do with genetics. It all depends on how well you take care of your plants. The main concern for yield is lights. Root space and nutriets are also very important. there are some tricks to increase yield like tying, topping, super cropping, pinching, twisting but its not gonna compliment your yield nearly as much as good ol lighting will.

You can run a quarter horse with the thorobreds, but it won't win. Without good genetics, even the ultimate growroom can only do so much. With a plant that has been selectively bred for yiels, like those mentioned, even a newbie can get new yeilds. I like the idea of the once per year crop, but found it rather beyond my reach. Of course I smoke a lot. Smiles, BD ![]()

![]() | My personal opinion is somethng like Afghani or a crossbreed cantaining it. Even though Big Bud has extremely heavy yields, I think it tastes like **** and has a desperate lack of potentcy. You might want to try breeding your own strains crossing heavy yielders with higher potentcy plants. Example: BB x White Widow BB xNL BB x Afghani Afghani x BB x GWS BB x Afghani x Sweet Tooth #3 But if you are not interested in doing your own breeding then Afghani is what I would reccomend. Great plant all around. perfect balance of yield and potentcy
