I friend just got back from Toronto with whole bunch of seeds from this place.... CSE I told her to buy Bubblegum and Chronic from serious seeds... She got those and a whole lot more... If you see the description on most of those strains they are the same as SS and SensiSeeds and others but the name of the original seedbank is not present... Are these rip off seed or what?. I got one called AFGANI X (xxx)?, got one one freebe. http://www.gardenscure.com/420/attac...1&d=1147495167

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | well, it appears to me like cse does not sell serious seeds. only almighty, doc bush, cse, toronto seedbank, a nameless seed co?, and willy jack seeds. i've heard of willy jack but i don't really know much about those ones. i wouldn't say a rip off but i haven't heard much about them. they seem fairly expensive for breeders i know little about.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | What you got is seeds that you or I could make at home given we had a male and female plant from the original seedbanks. In other words, most canadian seedbanks buy seeds from big name breeders and then they recross them themselves, put a big price tag on it and then just rake in the cash from Americans who are willing to cross the border to buy them.

I wonder if these seeds are any good... Donīt wanna find out the hard way but unfortunately that is the only way to find out. Anybody else has something to say about these guys?, maybe some reassurance ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i see willy jack ones are sold on doc c as well. the description fits what rhino says about them. Quote:
i believe drgreenthumb.com in canada has a reputable reputation. they dont sell the main breeders seeds but i have heard people rave about some of their strains potency. i've been leary about the canada ones since heavens stairway though. i would definitely grow them out if i had them. heck serious seeds bubblegum is supposed to be an ibl and if ya cross two ibl's of the same strain shouldn't ya get a very similar product? some non-ibl crosses might be somewhat not the same as the original but they could still be fine pot.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You'll get a similar product, but they won't be as stable as the originals. A friend of mine that frequents Amsterdam twice a year was just talking to me about Canadian seedbanks a couple of weeks ago. He was the one that told me how they get their strains. But he said you can usually get them for about half the price of the same seeds from the original breeders.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It means that it is likely they will show some variety. Some may grow faster, some may develop dense buds while others may be loose. But don't get discouraged. They very well could be stable. Let us know when you grow them. Be sure to label your clones and keep the ones from your best plant.
