Had The Seed Germ 10 Days Ago , Two Of The Have A Purple Colored Stem The Other Has A "regular" Greenish Color . The Last Time I Grew 25+ Years Ago I Dont Remember A Purple Stem Color . Does This Mean Anything ? Sex ? Also A Second Question If I May , I Read That Growers Start The 12/12 Light Cycle As Early As Two Weeks Into Grow ? Can That Be Right ? Seems Like The Plant Would Be To Small ?

| well my cinnimon fromm female seeds its a pheno of jack herrer actually it didnt seem anydifferent from regular jack says to flower 1 week after sprout i flowered like 2 weeks after and got a 5' plant with 4 dry ozs | ||

| Thats Amazing , How Long Should I Veg Before Flowering ? The Thing That I Dont Understand Is This . Im Growing In Soil , And If Im Flowering Within A Few Weeks Of Gem , I Dont Need To Feed My Plants , The Soil Im Using Will Support Healthy Grow For A Month Or Two Easy . Yet I Read So Much Bout Feeding During Veg ? Im Confused

 | Confusion abounds around here   If I may suggest, have a gander at the GrowGuide and eat it up, it's chock full of good info....the purple-ish stem is prolly just strain related. Purpleing in MJ is a sign of an Mg deficiency or cooler temps....or just strain. Cheers

Many of my sprouts develop purple or maroone stems a few days after they surface. Im my opinion this is totally normal if it happens because in my case this does not slow any growth or take away from the plant at all...As it grows and develops the color fades back to the green it shud be But as Eephus said it may be because of a Mg deficiency, excess heat and or just related to the strain u have chosen as i read in a few other threads. Tell more about your growing enviroment and strain of choice. Not to worry your seedlings will be just fine...be patient, keep an eye on them and ask questions if something else happens. Ive Sprouted What I Think Is Either Bigbud Or 4 Way Bag Seed .im Putting Together A Flower Cab Too That Larger Then My Veg Cab .im Planning On Using Miricle Grow Plant Food Durning Veg And Mg Again For Bloom With The Bloom Product They Have Out . I Plan To Feed Every Watering With Half Dose .getting My Feet Wet Before I Invest In Genetics (truth Be Told My Sis Sent Me Some Beans From Dna Genetics ,anunnaki And Sour Cream) Things Are Going Well , Not Nervous Bout The Seedling Colors , Just Wondering If It Ment Anything ? Bahama , How Long Do You Veg For Before Flowering ? The One Thing That Age Has Given Me Patiants , My Last Grow ,1978, I Would Sit And Watch My Plants , Study Infront Of Them , Everything . Now I Peak At Them In The Am Then Again In Pm And Dream Of Bigbuds . ..
