i was wondering if the ph of a seed w/ tap root or seedling matters much, b/c the growers i know use water w/ a ph of 5-5.5, but thats w/ cuttings, so was wondering if its the same for them, & can u use "cloneing hormone" gel, powder for helping the root system to develope better & faster.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | 6.5-7.0 for seeds should be fine. I know the starter plugs I germ in have rooting hormones infused in them. I don't think rooting hormones would hurt. I'm not sure how well a gel would work though

![]() | I use dutch master gel for rooting clones with filtered water ph 7.0. For seeds, after they split I put them in a rapid rooter and also use filtered water, advanced nutrients sensi one grow (.16 per gallon), the I put them in my clone dome until they are ready to be transplanted. But I was also wondering about using a little rooting gel on my split seeds will this help them?
