Yes alluminum foil will reflect light about 55%. For your heat problem you could use a fan but im thinking it would have to be small to fit in a speaker.

The space where im planning to grow it is a big speaker that i have. Should i put alluminum foil around the inside walls so the light reflects better?

Also, since the space will be preety limited im guessing it will get a little too hot, no?
Any suggestions on how to cool it down? The only hole that will let air in is a little one at the top (aprox 5 cm in diameter)

Im guessing your thinking something like " Why is he planning to grow it in a speaker?"
I live with a parent lol so that wouldnt be a good idea to flash it around.
How old are you? Just curious.

Aluminum foil can cause hotspots... you'd be better off with nice white walls as an alternative.... speaker grow, eh?

If you do choose to use Aluminum foil make sure you use the dull side to avoid hotspots. You can also use white paint like outdoors stated if your walls are not already white.

would it be healthier for the seeds to be put under the flourescent light?
