Mary Jane Best Soil for sprouted seeds?

Hey guys,

i have 2 seeds that have cracked and am wondering how long i should let them get before i transplant them into soil. Can anybody also tell me the best soil mixture for cracked seedlings? Thanks alot guys

Personally, I like ProMix with some additional perlite. Premoisten it first.

thanks for the info guys. After the seeds crack how long should the white root get before i put them into soil?

Definately get the seeds in now. Right when the white root is showing is definately ideal time to plant. Don't wan't much exposure on the roots. Make 1/4" to 1/2" hole and simply plant the seed root pointing down, then cover the hole. Do not over water either at this stage, very vonerable to root damage. Water only when soil drying out. Hope this helps

Awesome, thanks for the info dude, that really helped. So should i wet the soil and let it sit for a bit before i put the seeds in? Or put the seeds in dry and then water it? Sorry for the newbie questions, this is my first plant.
