should i be worried jiffy peat pellets

i got the 25 pellet jiffy greendhouse, 2 of them for 46 seeds, i put the seeds in water for a day until they sank, all of my white widow seeds cracked in that time but no roots were present, all my other seeds had sank but not crack and i put them all into jiffys, well not a single one of my whites has sprouted and one of my blueberry skunk seeds has sprouted but thats it, and its seeds werent cracked yet, i have the greehoues under a reptiglo floro bulb to keep the domes a good temp, should i be concerned that no widows have sprouted even tho they had cracked first i put the seeds in with a teaspoon of water to avoid handling them too much, but they may have gone a lil deeper into the pellet for this reason, how concerned should i be about this, this was 2 days ago, the seeds are garanteed to germinate so if they dont i can take them back but if thats the case i wanna replace them asap

Welcome to the Garden c_horbay!

I have not had good luck with jiffy pellets, although others have.

Two days is not long enough - be patient and give them a few more days. Be sure the pellets stay moist, not soaking wet.

I used to jiffys to start out my plants for my current outdoor grow. They took ahwile and i almost had given up.

After looking everyday, i stopped and waited 3 days. When i looked i had a bunch of yellow sprouts. Luckily i had turned on the light that day and they were saved. Luckily

Keep in mind i didnt germenate mine i had just placed 1 seed in 1 pellet. Patience is all you need.

im just concerned because the widow seeds were cracked and the blueberry seeds had not, i was just expecting them to come up before the blueberry, i also have hindu kush seeds, and a juicy fruit x nothern lights x skunk cross, none of those have come up.
these are all for an outdoor grow, i was going to wait until transplant to use superthrive does any1 recommend adding them to the jiffy pellets since some people experience problems, i usualy use coco plugs so maybe im just worried cause i changed to jiffy

whats the longest i should wait until i try replacing the seeds

Don't leave the pellet soggy. Before (or in your case after) you put the seed in make sure the pellet is at the same temp as where you plucked the seeds/lings from, give the pellet a squeeze to get excess moisture out and fresh air back in, and then use.

It is my own opinion that you either pop the seed in soil/pellet straight from the packet or nurse a good tap root on it.
I think transplanting a seed just after the shuck has cracked is a critical moment for the seed and should stay in place. I know some people do it with success but personally I like to see an inch of tap root before up planting.
Next time try putting them between two pieces of black cloth and in an airtight container. I put this in the boiler room and after 3-5 days get what's in the picture below.
Just make sure the pellets are the same temperature as the seedlings so there's no root shock

I tried and failed with the pellets.

I stopped pregerming them all together actually. Straight into damp soil and under a light. 4-5 days later they've got heads

Peat=acidic, maybe? I never tried them, 'cause I never heard anything good about them.

nay!

I have personally used these peat pellets also. I got them accidentally but used them.
I however did not use them correctly as I took the mesh off. I prefer to use proper containers for each seed planted. Its a lot easier and less inexpensive but a lot more messy and its just not good enough for my personal use.

and yes peat is considered on the acid side.

i've used peat pellets with good luck everytime. they're cheaper than rockwool and work great with clones, too.
