.. sitting on my table where I leave it.. Its one of those foam brushes that you use for painting. I paint oils so I have a crapload of thee around the house.. You can get 10 for $1.00 or so. All different sizes.. I use this one for wetting and putting out one of those HUGE mosquito coils. I wet it and soak it out.. Anyways I thought this was a pretty funny sight when I woke up this morning and seen this: Growing from the suspected burnt hole - see the one on the side (bottom) too? Heres a better look at the one on the side.. Not claiming this to be at all.. I just found it interesting that something would germ in this.. Especially overnight.. (or at least from what I seen) ![]() Anyone have experience using foam or such medium for germinating/cloning?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | its entirely possible...the seed is in the dark and is receiving water...so it germs. its not weird to me.. whats weird to me is a pear seedling growing out of my pear....it was hella funny.

They seem to be able to grow with just a bit of humid air and about everywhere. Nothing man made can stop life's evolution, I guess. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Haha this is funny because I found a full head of grass that had rooted into an old nerf football when I was raking leaves a few weeks ago. The grass was still in hibernation or w/e from the winter but you couldnt even pull the roots out if you tried, they just snapped from above the surface, so im sure it would have come back this spring. I was also thinking MJ when I saw it ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | That is not weird at all, what do you think fruit is made for? It is there for food, moisture, and a good texture for the seeds to grow, so a pear seedling growing out of a pear, that is what is supposed to happen.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I think that if you wanted to grow in a sponge type medium you would need to break down quickly. like rockwool. which also happens to be what I use for my grows. ![]() I think that the sponge or nerf material of course would work, but it wouldn't decay within the life of the plant and could hold onto unwanted bacteria just a thought...never tryed or thought about it before. I could be completely wrong. cool to see, especially the horizontal grower. haha
