| your thread is called "need some help with seeds" , which implies that you are expecting to be able to tell the sex of a seed, before its grown out and flowered. or even germinated?? there is no way to tell if a seed will be female or male until you grow it out, and even when they show sex (males= have testicle like little pods, & females= have 2 pistils [hairs] jutting out of their pod) no matter what type of hype you read there is no way of telling sex in the seed form, unless you BUY some feminized seeds from a good breeder like Paradise Seeds, then even the feminized seeds can produce male plants if stressed out enough. even a plant that show definative female organs can turn male or go "hermie" [hermaphrodite] on you, given the right (or should i say wrong) conditions food and environmental factors and light spectrum. and as far as feminized seeds go you are basically getting ripped off unless you purchase a feminized strain bred by paradise seeds. their methods for making these female seeds is top notch, second to none, the BEST and most STABLE female seeds in the world. ive used 2 different dutch passion female strains and one greenhouse seeds female strain and the seeds did in deed produce a few hermies, as where paradise seeds female strains can basically be near death and will stay true blue female till the end. trust me i have torture tested wappa and sensi star feminized seed plants, and they never even think of going tranny on me.lol i just realized that it takes me to the first unread post instead of the top of the page and i responed to the man who posted directly above me asking how to tell a plants sex. sorry to the orig. poster. | ||
