| I'd say it would depend on the length of time theyw ere "cooked" as well as the power. Oh, the individual microwave will play a part in it too (no two micros have the same heating levels). With that said, I would think that any bit of microwaving would hurt them. A microwave oven works by exciting the water inside the food. This is why most plates will not be hot unless the food is touching it. If there isn't any water (liquid) then there isn't any heat. This knowledge leads me to believe that you could kill the seed (make it steril) by microwaving it. Of course there may be a small amount that will not hurt the seeds.  In conclusion, I really have nothing to add to this thread.

| why the hell would a seed have been microwaved anyway? enjoy the smell of them?lol only way to find this one out is to try. i dont think to many people have expeirience with this. | ||
