Thanks!

you should really start your own thread rather than asking an unrelaited question in someone elses thread

Ah...thanks, all. Excellent!

Pothole Hippy sorry for any breach of etiquette. I figured that since this thread was about germinating seeds and timing of light, that it was on topic to ask about how much light was appropriate.

Not too flame you or pick a fight......but I completely disagree.

Lately there have been an excessive amount of threads with simple questions that could be answered in already existing threads. Ask and ye shall receive. If you ask a question in someone else's thread you will probably get more serious and direct responses.....rather than eye rolls and flaming insults

By asking in someone else's thread your question will be answered and life will go on, all in a days work .......but if you create an entirely new thread for one simple question......there could be an endless amount of responses......many of them off topic and useless......and then there's the possibility of necroposting

Just my

I think the seedling's roots have extra work to push through the inert rockwool to get to the soil and some don't make it. I soak them in tap H2O until they pop, then they go right into potting soil. I just germed 10 bag weed seeds for the hell of it and I got 8 seedlings this way that are currently at 3 sets of leaves.

I haven't done cloning yet so I can't comment on that.

Let me re-phrase that.........try and find a cross related thread to post your questions in....please don't hi-jack someone else's thread or grow journal

Do you mean... can you start a clone or seed in rockwool and then later plant the rockwool in a pot of soil and grow it like that?... if that's what you mean... Yes you can do that...
