Hey BC! At what point after you have seedlings, do you transfer them into your hempy, DWC , or whatever, and at what point do I start to give them nutes? (I know to use low doses at first) but can I give it to them 1-2 days after popping up?

Mine usually stay in the rockwool - no feeding - for about a week after they pop up. Then I transplant them to either solo cups (for hempy buckets) or straight into my e&f system. I feed them lightly (maybe 1-1-1 ml/gal) when I transplant them.

My method is to 1st put them in a cup of water for 24 hrs in a dark warm place then transfer them to moist paper towels, by then some of them already cracked open I would normally let them get a good root going before transferring them into soil.

I used a cup of water with a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide (3%). I usually get total germination within 24-36 hrs.

People underestimate the importance of a clean working environment. I keep everything clean during germination and cloning. It could mean the difference between a successful operation and a bummer.

Also what is the temperature at the cubes? I know your ambient temperatures looked good, but are the cubes themselves getting warm enough?

keepin the area clean is a must.

also what temp you keep them at is huge and if you can bottom heat is best, so that you spur on root development. a high humidity is also key, lower light levels too is a good thing to keep them from stressing. somthin around 23-25 celcius is good.

you mentioned the fan was blowing on them which is a big no no as you pull humidity out of the cubes faster then normal.
