I was germinating some bagseed in a cup of water and after two days they were still floating! So I pushed them down, they sank...I planted, they sprouted! The very next day! Great info on that one, thanks all! I put them under ONE 45wt cfl and they are growing like crazy. They actually have(in height) outgrew a seedling that's 3x's as old...go figure. I think I'll keep pushing them under water! By the way, when I push them down, they stay down.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | yea i would always give the seeds a tap under the water after they have been soaking for a while because sometimes they just tend to float until they are disturbed in some way others do sink but i always push them down just to make sure ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() | Just a note about the bagseed plants. They often grow VERY tall. If your doing them indoors, I would consider topping them. You can LST but the main stem is still going to be very tall. I prefer to top and seem to yield about the same. I just have more nice size buds and 1 less large top. Good luck with the grow! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | They have no taproot forming within them because the embryo is dead.Tap root inside of seed=higher density than water so they sink.

I've seen it mentioned on here a lot but, I don't what it is?

LST-Low Stress Training. Gradual bending of the top of the plant until it's parallel to the rest of the plant. This releases a hormone that increases side branching, with repeated LST(because, yes, the top of your plant will keep bending back up to get to light)the plant is tricked into turning its side branches upward therefore creating multiple tops with a very nice effect on quality and yield.
