Ok, So I've just gotten a gift (about 20) from a GREAT friend of some danky dankerton! He's been crossbreeding left and right and gave me 20 prime seeds of some super hybrid nug. I decided to use the cup of water method and now I'm a little stumped as to what I want to do next... In previous grows I've started seeds in soil and transplanted over to a hydro system but now I'm wondering if I could just pop these beans directly into the rockwool. What is the turnaround for such actions? My grow is on a strictly high-pace timeline considering my departure for USAF is shortly upcoming. His hybrid is ridiculous, here's the genetic family tree of these seeds (Big Bud * Cali) = F1 (Silver Haze * Northern Lights) = F2 (Purple Haze * White Widow) = F3 (JoosyFruit * Bagseed of bushy n dank indica) = F4 (F1 * F2) = F5 (F3* F4) = F6 (F5 * F6) = Hybrid 7 On a side note F3 looks pink. We've enjoyed hybrid 7 (nicknamed "BC OverDank") before and it's ridiculous over-kill, and really potent. The plant itself is dark blue/purple all over the stems and veins and the leaves are bright green. This is a buddy from my botany class at my university who's an Agricultural Sciences Major. | ||

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I soak my rockwool for 8 or more hours in water ph'd to 5.3 & shake the excess water out - never squeezing the rockwool. I also put little rockwool "caps" over the hole so the seed does not get exposed to light. The seedling coming up will push it out of the way.
