Pollen is for seeds. If you leave a male plant in your garden you impregnate your females..your females will then focus their energy on making seeds...you don't want this unless you are breeding

Ok, sounds great, you are being a big help whether you know it or not. Thanks whoever created this wonderful site. Ok of course I have another question(they never seem to stop.) where do I get fish emolsion.. and how long am I looking here for the entire process to bring me something to enjoy?

The bottom leaves will begin to yellow when they lack nitrogen.

as for watering - seedings like humidity so watering everyday for the first few days is what i do. after the seeds sprout then i water as needed. let the pots dry completly out before watering. put your finger about a inch in the soil and if it feels dry then water. about every 3 days in half gallon pots for me. but every situation is different.

the first mistake most new growers make is over watering. you can tell when your plants are thirsty they will start to droop a bit.

hope this helps

Fish emulsion? Any self-respecting garden store will have it.
You can get it online, that's a fact. I don't use it but check
out some online hydro stores too.

How long?

A month for veg. 9 weeks for flowering. Cut, trim, dry
and cure - another month.

Patience patience please, You'll need it in the months ahead
I promise ya.

But I don't use fish emulsion...

What I have used... (repost)

------------

Nutes such as Flora Nova Grow and Flora Nova Bloom are ph balanced.

Always though, ph balance your water, add your stuff then ph it afterwards as well. The goal for watering soil is 6.5.

Keep everything as simple as possible. Start small. Go from there.

And keep a journal so people can answer questions and give advice.

--------

After the seedlings sprout you don't need to feed them until the
after the cotyledons die off (little round leaves that first come up
after they sprout).

You can grow an entire crop from start to finish using just
General Hydroponics Grow and Bloom (no need for additives
unless you're rich).

Pints/quarts? of GH Flora Nova are really really cheap (15$ )
and mine lasted me a year plus (got 5 grows out of it).

Colas, if your doing it outside will get heavy near the end of your grow. Sometimes they will require supports or staking to support the growth. In time they will bend and there's not much you can do except
get out of the way.
