hey guys i need a solid.... i want a seed starter but im not finding specific answers. can anyone recommend one that is most idiot proof like maybe those floating wick ones? also iwanna use pellets or pucks or w/e their name is....that i can put straight into all perlie hempys after they break ground. this comes in result of a failed paper towel attempt. there were some temp swings where they were. maybe thats why they germed and didn't sprout thanks

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | that has been a frequently asked question around here. the answers are already here. Ive maintained either start in rockwool cubes , peat pods or directly in your medium . My preference is never to presoak , its just unnecessary stress, making it more complicated than it is.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have used the seed germination kits from Nirvana w/ 100% germination rate and ordered more because of it. I put them directly into my hydroton in an ebb and flow system and had no problems.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yep,The only prob you might have with peat is it may effect your PH if it doesnt have dolomitic lime in it.Another thing is depending on what kind of system you are running the peat kinda comes apart and you get little pieces of peat floating around your res or whatever. Some systems this is not a prob at all.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | dude, keep it simple get the rapid rooters or the other GH mat with 100 plugs. take them and soak them. drop seed in pre made hole in rooter then get a heat mat and throw it under a seed tray get a humidity dome and cover spray the rooters twice a day till they pop. fresh seeds will pop in 12 hours key is to keep the rooter very wet do not attempt to move the seed if root goes up and around the seed ^this method is fail proof, use distilled / tap / water with LK or seaweed, doesn't matter as someone stated. presoaking is not needed and one less step to not presoak. the seeds will get enough water in the rooter. I have alot of experience popping seeds, and this by far is the easiest / fastest method
