Having a heck of a time

getting some WW to pop - only 4 of 10, so far (eight days in). Considered actually scoring the seeds with a micro file or lightly pressing the seed to encourage it to crack, but fearful the shell might lacerate the radicle or cotyledon. Do you have a proven method?
