WTF, I have ALWAYS had seeds to pop/germ in 24 hours using paper towel method. These sons of a bitches don't EVEN think about popping for nearly a week. I had one to pop in about 24 hours, and the others 7-10 days !!!!! Just FYI to those of you thinking about this strain, BE PATIENT !!!! After the assumed failed attempts, I put them in rockwool and kept in the dome really wet/86F...slowly the little girls ( calling up the gender ) poke through. I have no idea why I am wasting my time on a plant with one cola, not really that good of smoke and just 4 weeks shy of a "real" grow. Change maybe. BH

I've found lowrider really needs a little help at germing... scuffing or manually cracking the seeds will really improve things

well I just got five Lowryder #2 fem seeds and one was cracked a little. ALL five popped and showed root after just 16 hours. Sorry dude but maybe it was your germ method?

me and my brother got some g13 labs poison dwarf seeds that had a terrible time germing..... We only got 1 out of the 10 seeds still alive and the seedling is only about 1/2 an inch tall... it took almost a week just to reach this sidz with the other beans dying off already.... I m not sure if it is the autoflowering strains or what but i am verrrrrry disappointed with the turnout

I hear ya Corvus. I don't think I will fool with this again.

Hunter2021, thanks....never had a germ problem as stated in the original post, so I think methods are good.

Pothole, Pipedream, thanks for the tips.

You say you "then" put them in rockwool and 86 degrees after the presumed fail attempt.
What was your temps on your "failed" attempts??
And what lowryder you using because i also have some LR2's I will be germing soon so I know what to look out for!
Good luck on your grow!

Hi Shellrivergrove, the failed attempt was to get them to crack/pop. I usually soak in
ph H20 for 24 hours. Most of the time, beans pop, see white, sometimes even a small root exposed. After they would not pop after 48 hours in H20, I took them out and put in small RW cube, soaked with H20 and put in germ dome and after 5 more days 2 more popped. Total 3 out of 10. I am thinking the others in the cubes never will, but I still try...what do I have to loose now These are LR 1's
