Hi All, My first grow, I used bagseed and tried to germ 50 seeds! Only got 8 to pop and then 3 were females. Then on the following 2 grows I went with a bank and ordered a count of 10 "regular" seedpacks, on each occasion, those packs ended up being right at 50/50, which I was very happy with. This will be the first time experimenting with the femenized pack, and all though the farms will advertise a 100% ratio, I would still be curious to see how these "sexed" packs have worked out for those here, in the past. Thank you Bill

![]() ![]() | Billhilts, Welcome to GC. I went with Fem seeds on my recent grow (Dutch Passion BB & Seedsman WW). This was my first time working with such and I was a little hesitant but time was a factor. As of today, I have a 100% success. The Attitude was my source and the extras, Durban and NL fem freebies are all showing nice flowers as well. Now it's time to get serious with the full Mandala lineup .Give it a shot and happy cultivating![]() Last edited by Archieleach; 02-08-2009 at 10:59 AM..

![]() | Arch- Thanks for your response, I am hoping for atleast a 80/20 percent ratio, if I get 100% like you did, that would be to good for words to express. I also went with the attitude, after reading the great thread here about it! I went with Barneys farm and Green house bean company, the 5 free seeds of skunk, that are "unsexed" will sit out on this one. In the past I have not gotten 1 female out of the last 10 free seeds I received, (2 different orders, from a different bank). So with 17 female persuaded seeds, they can sit in time out. ![]() Bill

I'm glad you asked this question and I will be checking back often to see what others say... This is my 1st grow ever, I bought enitire set up for hubby for christmas (OK it was really a present for myself too ) but I went all out and got the Fem seeds too. I ordered from Dr. Chronic and got a 5 pack sativa Haze mix from GHS and a 3 pack of Yumbolt*47 from World of seeds. I figured this was absolute BEST. After purchase I began to read ALOT, I read a few things that scared me about Fems. I read they have high Hermie rate and it just wasn't as good of smoke??? I'm interested to see if anyone else uses them this good luck. So far about 3 weeks old my girls look great soo far- from what I can tell![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Out of 6 femmed seeds this grow, one had balls. So I'm at 80%. Seeds from Attitude...Seedsman feminized White Widow was the one failure. Dutch Passions femmed were all girls. However I'm thinking I just got unlucky as the ratio should be much higher. More like in the upper 90% ratio.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i have always ordered feminine seeds...i actually prefer them. i have ordered others but the ones i always seem to go back for are dp strawberry cough(i've always had the same pheno too)& dp blueberry...this time i had 3 different phenos. had a fews grows with dp fem white widow...2 different phenos...and this year i ordered ss-ak-47(not fem) i planted 4 seeds hoping for 2 girls...do you believe they were all female...schhaawing! 2 different phenos. oh this year i did buy dp jorges diamond..fem. can't say i'm real impressed with it. thats the only one i saw nanners on this year. other years blueberry would show a few nanners but i hardly ever saw a seed. so i give a thumbs up for feminine seeds. i just don't have the patience to plants twice as many i need to...6 weeks is alot of effort to end up with a male....sorry guys. ![]() now if i had the space and was into breeding...then i certainly wouldn't use feminine seeds.

I have been using Barney's Farm seeds for my last 2 grows. I bought the feminized gs13/haze and the NiteShade. So far 100% germination and 100% females. These are some of the best seeds I have come across. Smooth and green with tiger stripes, these future little ladies can't wait to pop. I start them in a shot glass and it is rare when they don't pop within 24 hours. Nice healthy, sturdy plants, not to mention the great genetics. You will be happy with that selection. The hermi comments are right on the money. Mostly you will get a few undeveloped seeds, no big deal so far. Good Luck good luck

they are. I bought BF blue cheese fems, 100% germ and 2/3 pure females with 2 phenos in the 2 pure females. My seeds were not green, do you mean brown or tanish perhaps?
