i had it set to the hottest temp but there is a glass plate inbetween. Also i read that while germinating the seeds you shouldnt enclose them cuz they like oxygen in this stage

Yeah thats what i did last night. I bought some soil at home depot and just planted the seed. Why complicate things

The majority of the seeds were witish colored but i disgarded those and only took the tan and dark seeds.

be careful of what kinda soil you buy. hopefully you got some organic soil so it wont burn your babies! if you didnt i would return that soil and get organic its much better for seedlings cause they are very delicate to nutes and some of the store soil releases nutes right aways burning your sprouts

simple: clear tape the bag where you opened it and tell them that some worker told you to buy the wrong stuff. im sure they wont mind giving you back those 6 bucks you spent on it especially if your buying more in the same store. Home Depot is a big chain they wont mind taking a 6 dollar hit they rather keep your business and keep you happy.

Ok i just checked it and it says on the package that its good for starting seeds and forming roots. It also says that it contains phgosporus and stuff on the front. Im pretty sure this isnt the harsh stuff
