High to all, My first grow; Just sprouted 3 of 5 Top 44 in paper towel method, I am growing in hempy cups. 50w HPS and a CFL 14w in a semi closed bin @ My question is about watering my tap runs @ about an 8.5ph Should I adjust the ph of the water to about 6.5 before watering? | ||

 | yup.. i use liquid karma to adjust the ph instead of using ph down. | ||

| Maybe for the first 2weeks, take it real easy and buy some jugs of distilled water. 8.5 is really high ph. My two cents worth.

| At some point you might also want to invest in a Dissolved Solids Tester and see how much minerals you have your water. With the pH that high, you might have too much minerals, although I'm not a hydrologist. Just a thought...
